A question for you...
What did you think about the use of the Strategic Level pre-seen material? Did you need to use much information from it, in answering the Q1s?
True 10% use or less is correct.I just used one paragraph on page 4 for P3. I just hate the fact that it's next to impossible to ignore looking at the preseen b4 the exam. It's preparing me for t4, but OH the pain!
I am still trying to understand what is the added benefit and value of the pre-seen material, as opposed to the old syllabus. I did the E3 exam and i only used it once during the exam.
I am of the opinion that the questions should be set taking in to account the pre-seen material as well.In the May siting except for a few questions in sec A most of the questions were based on the un-seen
I did not look at it at all. I did not use it. I was however, impressed with the F3 quetion one. It had the element of or an introduction to the T4 Part B. All the sub-questions were under one single report. Thank you.
I did not use the pre-seen, as I reckon most of the section A questions came from the unseen material. Thanks so much David for your advice, it really helped me.
If you want to ask The CIMA Guru a question, or would like him to post about a certain topic, just add a comment to the most recent post and he'll consider it ;-)

ReplyDeleteThere were very little issues referring to the pre-seen material, like anyone else, I wonder want value this pre-seen is meant to achieve.
