Well, at this late stage all you can really do is concentrate on the exams themselves - lots of question practice and review. Even if you think you have gaps in your knowledge, you shouldn't be spending hours reading the textbooks. Use question practice as a way to identify those gaps, then just use the textbook as a 'reference book', to find out what you need to know for that question.

ReplyDeleteIt's just over 4 weeks until I take 2 management level exams E2 & F2. I still feel like I have alot to learn as well as question practice. What is the best way to plan my time?
ReplyDeleteAs I mentioned above. Assuming you have done at least a bit of work on each subject, concentrate on question parctice and use the textbook as a reference book if the suggested answers contain something you're unsure of (or you don't understand the question). In a short time period, it's important that you focus on 'passing the exam', not on 'learning the stuff'. E" and F" are not memory tests - you have to use your knowledge to solve problems and advise.

ReplyDeleteHi Kugesh, I'm currently working in Romania, so I can't write a full answer. However, I'll do a full post in a few days when I'm home. In the meantime, look at the two posts on here about T4B (use the 'tag cloud', below) and my article in FM magazine (also on the CIMA website) about the 'seven deadly sins of Case Study'. Your approach (plans, mock exams...) sounds good to me, though.
