I just had a thought, relating to the post below, about numbers in E3 and P3. Some time ago, I wrote an article about calculations in E3 for Financial Management magazine. Obviously I'm no longer the E3 examiner, but I think the article is still a valid summary.

At the Strategic level are we required to explain every point and can we just concentrate on applying the point.
ReplyDeleteYes. Think (and write) in paragraphs, at the Strategic Level. Make your point in the first sentence, explain or clarify it in the second, apply it to the scenario in the third.
ReplyDeleteIf you're talking especially about calculations, do exactly the same - a calculation means nothing without explanation.
